“ Ashley and Morgan are awesome and so welcoming. Went on a Thursday for some live music and friendship and got exactly that. Such a great mainstay in Fells. Check this place out pretty much whenever for some good, local music! ”
“ Cat's Eye Pub might be my favorite bar in Baltimore, and maybe the country. Great spot in Fells Point that has overlooked the harbor for 50 years. They offer up some of the freshest draft beer you'll ever have with plenty of common and local brews to choose from, along with a fully stocked bar. Live music almost every day in the year. Service and atmosphere are always top notch, and the owner(Tony) is a fun, energetic guy. A must visit when in Baltimore. ”
“ Very few are places will connect with you personally enough to register if you’re unfit to drive or not. This is one of those places, and they make sure you get home safe. Drinks are strong, but their morals are stronger! 100% recommend to locals and newcomers alike, fantastic service and genuinely good bartenders! ”
“ My friends and I frequent here. Such great staff and live music most nights. The vibe is like being at a house party with close friends. Morgan was sure to show us a great time. He was an awesome host and treated us like family. I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for something to do in Fells Point. Great drinks, better times! ”
“ I spent my youth in the Cat's Eye in the 70's listening to Celtic music and enjoying the vibe. I moved away in the 80's and returned to Baltimore for family reasons recently. I always stopped by when in town and although the music scene has changed, blues is my next favorite genre, the atmosphere and the great staff remains the same. As many of my favorite haunts in Fells Point have gone by the wayside, RIP Leadbetters and Bertha's, Thank you Cat's Eye for keeping my favorite bar alive and in the spirit that it was founded! ”
“ This has to be my most gone to bar in Baltimore. A genuine dive bar that has stayed very fun. Always great music, always nice people, and most importantly will never break your bank. 10/10 spot ”
“ Some of the depictions of this place are disingenuous, bordering on thinking that it's some sort of sleaze joint.. it's not. That would be the Mount Royal Tavern Is Cats Eye packed? Yes it is Is the music always good? Yes it is And the music starts early and ends late... One of the few places down there that still does that. I might note, and could be wrong - but I believe this establishment location is the oldest tavern in Baltimore / Fells point. Humorously, it is noted that many barks and brigantines were built in Fells Point that actually became the terror of the Caribbean several hundred years ago, when England and France were at it. Yep. We here in Baltimore? We are the original Pirates of the Caribbean And yes, I do honestly believe that there are ghosts in Fells Point... ”
“ I first came here in 2008, while I was staying in Baltimore for a month for a work project. It quickly became my favorite place. Whenever I stop in Baltimore now, I come here to check out a band. Great place, great vibe great music, and great employees! You can tell that Morgan really cares about the place and the people that work there! A hidden gem for sure! ”
